Aquasust Tube Settler: Choose The Right Product For You
PP Tube Settler
1. Strong Chemical Stability: PP has good resistance to a variety of chemicals and is suitable for environments with strong chemical reactivity.
2. Higher Temperature Resistance: PP material can withstand higher temperatures and is suitable for sewage treatment during heat treatment.
3. Stronger Aging Resistance: PP has better UV and aging resistance, suitable for outdoor or environments with strong light exposure.
Applicable Secondary Wastewater:
1. Industrial Wastewater Treatment
2. Chemical Plant Wastewater Treatment
3. Metal Processing Plant Wastewater Treatment
4. Food Processing Wastewater Treatment
5. Pharmaceutical Industry Wastewater Treatment
PVC Tube Settler
1. Cost-effective: PVC materials are usually less costly compared to PP, making it an affordable option.
2. Good Mechanical Strength: PVC has good hardness and mechanical strength and is suitable to withstand certain physical loads.
3. Corrosion Resistance: although PVC is not as chemically resistant as PP, it also has good resistance to many corrosive substances such as acids and alkalis
Applicable Secondary Wastewater:
1. Municipal Wastewater Treatment.
2. Sewage Treatment Plant
3. Water Reclamation Systems
How to Choose the Tube Settler
When selecting a tube settler in PP (polypropylene) or PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material, several factors need to be considered to ensure that the material you select is best suited for your particular application and operating environment. Below are some key selection criteria:
1. Chemical compatibility
PP Tube Settler:
(1) PP materials have excellent chemical stability and are resistant to most acids and alkalis, making them suitable for treating chemically complex or corrosive wastewater.
(2) It is particularly suitable for environments such as chemical plants, electroplating plants, and metal processing plants where wastewater may contain corrosive chemicals.
PVC Tube Settler:
(1) Although PVC is more chemically resistant, it is not as good as PP and may suffer especially when treating certain types of organic solvents and oil-based wastewater.
(2) It is suitable for municipal wastewater treatment or industrial applications with less stringent chemical requirements.
2. Temperature tolerance
PP Tube Settler:
The maximum working temperature that PP can withstand is usually higher than that of PVC, being able to reach 90°C or more, which makes it suitable for wastewater systems that require heat treatment.
PVC Tube Settler:
The maximum temperature that PVC can withstand is usually between 60°C and 70°C, making it suitable for wastewater treatment at room temperature.
3. Physical durability
PVC material is hard and impact-resistant and is suitable for installation in environments with high physical loads.
PP, although flexible and slightly less impact-resistant than PVC, performs well in resistance to stretching and bending.
4. Ultraviolet (UV) Stability
PP is more resistant to UV than PVC, making it more suitable for outdoor installations or environments with strong light.
5. Cost Considerations
PVC is generally cheaper than PP, which makes it more cost-effective for initial investment and large-scale applications.
PP is more costly, but due to its durability and chemical stability, it may be more cost-effective in the long run, especially in demanding applications.
